Yeeks, am I ever disappointed!!! Whew!!
Scottie McHottie voted - along with the Lady RINOs Snowe and Collins of Maine - in support of the Chris Dodd-Barney Frank financial reform bill?!?! The only three Republicans who voted for this bill were these three New England tools? Even a Democrat voted against it (Russ Feingold of Wisconsin). This was not a bill to cross the aisle over.
Two facts are all you need to know: 1) Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank - personally responsible for much of the economic mess we're in right now - are behind this bill. 2) The bill is 2,300 page long. Who the heck knows what's really in it and how it will "work"??
This is a bad bad bill, another gargantuan overreach by our Congress, which continues its turbo-charged drive to push our county into economic hell that will likely take decades to recover from. Congress People, have you never heard of incremental change? How about reforming Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which are untouched by this bill? How about de-deregulating the banking and credit industries?
Senator Brown, we sent you to DC to starve the beast, not to feed the beast.
The bumper sticker is off the car. The financial support is OVAH.
Excellent work! And to think how proud (before a fall) I felt of doing my small part to dislodge the MA machine from the so-called "Kennedy Seat" ...
I still like to think (rationalize?) that the "Massachusetts Miracle" was a catalyst propelling the "narrative" that has uprooted some of the old deadwood across the fruited plain and may well get rid of a lot more in the November elections.

One and done for # 61.
Calling him a RINO would be a compliment.
