To me, it comes down to basic and universal human rights. And poor Aqsa was denied hers.

I agree, ERS, but unfortunately what we think of as "universal" human rights are simply not thought of that way in certain cultures. And why do so many in the West care more about "respecting" religious and cultural "traditions" than they do about respecting human rights? It's mind-boggling and tragic.


1. How do you know she died definitely because of the hijab?

2. Domestic violence is a very real part of Canadian society. Newspapers often report on it. Seems to be that it must be accepted in christianity and part of "universal" human rights right?
