Maybe the Boy Scouts can use the ridiculous actions by the Cambridge Election Commission to their benefit.
As you all know, Cambridge election officials made the Boy Scout Troop 45 remove boxes they had placed at 33 polling places, which the Scouts set up to collect supplies to send care packages to troops overseas. One person complained about the "pro-war" sentiment of the collection, and that's all it took in Cambridge. The supply boxes were immediately removed from all polling places. The anti-war flyers remained. It's OK to be "anti-war" but not "pro-war." Only in Cambridge! Imagine if this was typical sentiment back in WWII.
To help out the Boy Scouts and our troops overseas, please send a donation to BSA Troop 45 at P.O. Box 381241, Cambridge, MA 02238. I hope they make a killing.
