Aaron Mannes of the Maryland Information and Network Dynamics Laboratory (MINDLAB) at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies, developed this graph (click to enlarge), which shows the connections between CAIR and numerous other Islamist organizations in the U.S. Many of the usual suspects are there, some of whom are listed in the federal government's list of unindicted co-conspirators in U.S.A. versus the Holy Land Foundation case. Mannes writes about the attempt by CAIR to have itself de-listed here (fat chance). His article also explains what an unindicted co-conspirator is and why it's a useful tool for prosecution.
This graph represents "the network of Hamas affiliated organizations linked to the Holy Land Foundation and their fundraising. CAIR is obviously well linked in this dubious group." I'm not sure what evidence Mannes using to actually make the linkage. Meetings? Joint events? Depending on what his criteria are, I recommend adding Mahdi Bray's name to the graph, the current head of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation and former interfaith coordinator for the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB). Add Bray's name to the graph and draw a line to the MAS and to Minneapolis US Airways Flight 300. Bray was there at all the Six Flying Imams press conferences and photo opps. Come to think of it, Mannes could add the ISB to the graph and draw lines to Mahdi Bray, the Muslim American Society, the ISNA, and the ICNA. Given the contributions of the ISB to the HLF, heck, draw another line on that graph!
