FYI, there are two Marian prayer services I know about next week, one in Boston and one in Lowell. Nice opportunity to pay special respects to Mary during her month of May, and with very pretty hymns too! Both are free and open to the public.

The Blessed Virgin Sodality of St. Margaret's Parish in Lowell is holding a Spring Rosary and Prayer Hour on Monday, May 4th at 7 PM. The prayer hour will include reciting the rosary, the Magnificat, chanting the Litany of Loreto and singing Marian hymns. All are invited to join us in this traditional prayer service honoring Mary. Refreshments will be served afterwards. The address is 374 Stevens Street, Lowell, MA, in the Our Lady of Lourdes chapel (downstairs) . From their blog: The 1st Thursday Women’s Prayer Group is hosting the May Dedication to Mary Crowning Ceremony in lieu of the regular May prayer group and we hope you will be able to join us for this very special event!
