I haven't had illuminations in the classical sense, if by that you mean something half-mystical, then Cardinal Ratzinger told secular journalist Peter Seewald in the 1977 book-length interview Salt of the Earth. I am a perfectly ordinary Christian. But in [Read More]

Something Beautiful Has Begun?

Ask the abused and molested children if it is beautiful to have their priest rape them and then their alleged "holy father" shield those animals from prosecution?

The pope is a political leader of a nation state. He is not the leader of an international religious organization. This fact has been publicly admitted in pedophile court cases throughout the US. It is the basis of a sovereign immunity defense for bishops and priests. Roman catholic lawyers representing the vatican and Joseph Ratzinger argue this position.

SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY FOR PEDOPHILES
BUSH & JOSEPH RATZINGER - LAW UNTO THEMSELVES

GWBush and Condi Rice have argued in agreement that the roman catholic "pontiff" has sovereign immunity from prosecution.

An excerpt from a recent AP news story on Ratzinger's coming visit to the US:

The Vatican — seat of a government as well as a religious headquarters — has an interest, too.

* So then to who do US roman catholics owe their political allegiance? The supposed pontiff or to the republic and the Constitution?

* Should all roman catholic priests, bishops and cardinals in the US be forced to register as agents of a foreign government?

* Why should any roman catholic churches and organizations be tax exempt, since they are for profit businesses and not qualified as a tax exempt religious organizations?

* Why is there no inherent conflict of allegiance and interest for all roman catholic elected officials, since they are members/citizens of another political nation state?

* Are there any verses from the bible that weigh directly on the roman catholic organization being an earthly political "kingdom"?

The roman catholic organization alleges that the pope is the vicar of Christ, a doctrine blasphemous and unbiblical on its own. For it to have accepted the temptation offered by Satan and rejected by Jesus, denies its alleged vicar-ship and declares itself to be anti-christ.

See Matthew 4 or Luke 4 in the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness - NASB

Luke 4
1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness

2 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He became hungry.

3 And the devil said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."

4 And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE.'"

5 And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said to Him, "I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

7 "Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours."

8 Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.'"

9 And he led Him to Jerusalem and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here;

10 for it is written,
'HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU TO GUARD YOU,'

11 and,
'ON their HANDS THEY WILL BEAR YOU UP,
SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.'"

12 And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is said, 'YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.'"

13 When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.

As an old school, pre-Reformation Baptist, I am not uninformed about roman catholic history and its murderous nature. All of its gold, jewels, purple linens, political power, indulgences, empty sacrificing and idol worship cannot expiate its guilt.

Many things horrid and heinous are ongoing in the roman catholic organization.

Repent and come out of that beast Ms Noonan.

So many kooks in the world. The Church's handling of the sexual abuse cases was horrible and criminal. Those priests should have been arrested, not moved around. That said, Pope Benedict wasn't responsible for bad priests or for how they were dealt with.

Thank you for sharing your information, I'm delighted that the Roman Catholic pontiff has sovereign immunity from prosecution.

Your other stuff is pretty woo-woo, Nathanel.
